Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe EKG Technician 1 assumes the responsibility of performing EKG’s, stress tests, pacemaker download and Holter placement monitoring.
S/he operates specialized equipment which measures and records cardio activity of the heart. S/he passes the results of the test(s) to the clinician. Qualifications:Required Education:EKG certification from NHA National health career association program. Or a certified cardiographic technician (CCT). High school diploma or GED and the combination of education, knowledge, skills, mental development, and relevant experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position.
